Teens Eat Right Free Lesson Plan
Please visit www.scandpg.org for a free nutrition lesson plan teachers at the secondary level can use. It includes 52 slides, 16 pages of notes, 7 handouts that teens helped design, and a quiz with the answer sheet. The RD can use it for their own practice and we are hoping they will contact the health and fitness coordinator in their local school district and spread the word about the free lesson plan to teachers. If teachers use the lesson plan, they are invited to SKYPE a Registered Dietitian into their classroom to answer student questions during National Nutrition Month. Any RDs who would like to participate in a SKYPE sessions can contact me at carol.lapin@yahoo.com.
