Bailey Weiner MCN, RDN, LD is a Clinical Dietitian at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston. She works in the John S. Dunn Burn Center and the Red Duke Trauma Institute providing customized nutrition support and medical nutrition therapy to these specific patient populations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and History from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Clinical Nutrition from UT Southwestern Medical Center where she concurrently completed her dietetic internship. Bailey was selected as a University of Texas Archer Center Fellow in the Graduate Program in Public Policy affording her the opportunity to learn, live, and work in Washington DC with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Government Relations Office. During her fellowship she evaluated and composed briefs on policy documents and Congressional hearings related to federal legislation centered on nutrition issues across the lifecycle. She has served as a student liaison for the Dallas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and as Assistant Legislative Coordinator for the Houston Legislative Task Force. In her free time she enjoys running and lifting weights, watching English Premier League soccer, and reading historical biographies.
