Hallie received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she double majored in Communications and Medicine, Health, and Society. She received a Masters in Clinical Nutrition from UT Southwestern Medical Center where she was a member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society and Board Member of the Student Dietetic Association. Hallie is a Board Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) and works as a Pediatric Clinical Dietitian at Medical City Children’s in Dallas, TX.
Prior to pursuing a graduate degree in clinical nutrition, Hallie worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer for a year at a New York City WIC clinic. She also worked as a restaurant Marketing Manager and Catering Director and as the Nutrition Education Coordinator at the North Texas Food Bank overseeing the Cooking Matters Program. Hallie has also done independent consulting for international nutrition and meal planning apps.
Hallie has a life-long passion for Health and Nutrition Policy. She has interned for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Legislative Office in Washington, D.C. During her internship, she attended Congressional briefings and hearings and advocated for important nutrition-related legislation to key decision makers.
